A Cry for Help

This is going to be a short post because I'm struggling with motivation right now.

Anybody else?

Not with everything, of course. I am incredibly motivated to binge watch about fifteen different shows. I am super motivated to bake some muffins or scones or cookies and then eat them all. I am so very motivated to take a very long nap right now...
This guy is living the life...
I'm not saying any of these things are bad things to be motivated about, but they probably aren't the greatest. One thing I cannot seem to drum up any motivation for?

Coming up with original content for this blog. Based on the fact that it's been right at a month since I last worked my job in a normal way, my exposure to anything remotely inspiring has been very limited.

Could I write a blog post telling you how great the YouTube series Black Girl in a Big Dress is? Sure, but I don't really feel like it.

Could I make another list post of all the books I plan to read as the quarantine continues? Sure, but I don't really feel like it.

Could I write another rambling post about how important it is to practice self care and know that whatever you're feeling is really okay right now? Sure, but I don't feel like it.

I need help, friends. I need you to give me ideas of things to write about. What would bring some joy to your life to read {or watch...I've never done a video post before, but hey, I've got the time right now}? Are there a bunch of questions you have been dying to know the answers to? Have you ever wondered what my deepest, darkest secret is? {You can keep wondering...I can guarantee I will never share that on my blog}

Comment on this Facebook post, send me a private message, comment on the actual blog post itself, text me...no idea is too small or too silly.

And, to leave you in a better place, I highly, highly recommend you check out all the new videos from The Holderness Family. Particularly the ones they have posted in the last month. There are some amazing song parodies, some really funny and relatable vlogs, and a compilation of all their 90s parodies that made me laugh. I particularly loved the "Do you Want to..." Frozen parody...laughed way too hard.

But that isn't a bad thing, either.
